Perros-Guirec : the Greast Site of Ploumanac'h
Ploumanac'h in Perros-Guirec is famous for its amazing piles of old rose-coloured rocks. These large blocks of stone have taken on the most fantastic shapes.
The best way of discovering Ploumanac'h is to follow the coast in an East-West direction. From the end of the coastal footpath from Perros-Guirec, you will see the rocky outcrop of Pors Rolland then the "devil's castle", and further North the beautiful Pointe de Squewel.
From there, go on to Ploumanac'h lighthouse from witch there is a panoramic view of the Sept--Iles Archipelago in the North.
The main group of rocks that have been sculpted by the elements are to the South-West. Napoleon's hat, for example, is near St. Guirec beach.
